Analyzing the perspectives: Step one

Watching Big Brother has produced some interesting images of not only the house, but also the intent of the filming of the characters in relation to the house. I am posting the screen shots and some sketches now and the diagrams later, since they are in progress. I have included a short description of what I am diagramming in each perspective.

1. A physical setting of contrast: in color and concept 2. Set geometry and perspective illusion: the view of characters in the space 3. Set and perspective exclusion: what we can't see

4. Dramatized set and perspective: creation of a fantastical alternate reality

Comments on the images and their short descriptions are appreciated.

Anne,

I think you are really on the right track with what you have so far. The things you have chosen to analize spacially really start to pick up on the theme of the show... which from the few that I have seen is constant conflict. The first two screen shots are the best. Fire and ice, and all of the characters facing off. Bravo
